We had an old beach cottage (1960s era) that we bought in 1998 and had hoped to turn into our permanent residence some day. In 2014 I went out looking for a builder for our project and identified three who seemed to build the quality of homes we wanted. The decision was to go with Miken as they seemed easy to work with and had built several beach-front houses in our town. We have been delighted with the results. They made numerous suggestions that improved on our concepts and we now have a lovely, bright and well-built home for our retirement. I would recommend Miken to anyone looking for a quality builder with a knowledge of the special requirements of being 'beach front'.
