This was the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. I came in from out of town and was getting a gel manicure and pedicure. The gel manicure awful. I asked for my nails to be cut and the technician refused, and only filed them. I had to ask him for additional coats of polish as he was attempting to put top coat on my nails that were still streaky. At the end he massaged my hands but was standing up so that he was yanking my arms forward while doing so. I also had to ask another tech to file the ends of my nails since they were rough and catching on my clothes. My pedicure wasn't much better. The technician only exfoliated one leg then couldn't even be bothered to lead me over to the drying station herself when she was finished. I made my way over there but then couldn't get any of the fans to turn on so I paid and left. The last straw was the prices. They are 20% higher than what I am used to paying in the city. I would of felt better if I felt like they had taken their time and did a good job, but they could barely be bothered. I went with my mom and her nail technician cut the cuticle on her toe so short it was bleeding. He didn't even apologize. Don't waste your time here.
This is the rudest owner of a business that I have ever encountered. Visited the establishment last week with my wife should have gone with our gut feeling after the introduction and left but decided to get nails done. As you look around this is one of the dirtiest places I have seen in quite a while. And if you read online there are many other complaints stating the same thing. The owner was very sarcastic to us and other customers while we were there. Do yourself a favor and read all the other reviews also it's not just us so avoid this business at all cost... you will be glad you did.
I visited this nail salon today before attending a wedding for a full set, french manicure (w/seaglass blue and white) gel polish. I reviewed the posted amount for full set is $28, gel polish is $5 and french manicure is $5 no biggie. I knew my total should be $38. I go to check and the owner says that will be $53 dollars. I said what? That is not what your sign says he said your nails take longer you have special color request and french manicure. He should of told me before This process ever started my nails were going to cost more than normal. I told him he just lost a very good customer! His response, " okay". NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT OR RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON TO ANYONE!
I had the worst experience today at Venus Nails. I was welcomed when I walked in, and asked to pick a color. I wanted a gel manicure, and it's the worst one I've ever got. My nails were filed unevenly and rough, the guy painted my nails and there was lint and fuzz all in the paint, the layers were so thick it clumped on the edges of my nails, and there are air bubbles and uneven layers of color on my nails. Although the shop looked clean, my tech was not. He wreaked of smoke, had a pack of Newports out in his station and was digging in his ears then toughing my hands after. I am a new resident in the area, and will be searching for a new nail salon. I will not go back here.
